SPRING IS IN THE AIR WITH RAVISHING FASHIONISTAS FASHION SHOW 2022
For the fourth year in a row, Ravishing Fashionistas has continued to spread the RF message of female empowerment by encouraging women to embrace their body confidence, irrespective of their age, body type, background, skin colour or culture. Upma and her team have once again exceeded expectations, showcasing some stunning Spring Themed fashions on a diverse array of gorgeous models in all shapes and sizes once again proving that all women can be a model in their own right.
The heritage columned entrance of Brisbane’s Old Government House, located in the center of QUT Gardens Point, were elegantly lit with cherry blossom trees where guests were photographed in front of exquisite flower and media wall displays. VIP guests were treated to an extraordinary exclusive pre party event in QUT’s top floor event venue Room Three Sixty, where guests enjoyed unlimited champagne and canapes while soaking in panoramic city views while being treated to live entertainment, media interviews and photo opportunities.
350 guests attended, with local politicians, celebrities and influencers including VVIP guests Brisbane City Council’s Councilor Vicki Howard and Damien Anthony Rossi all gathering under one roof for a one night only spectacle, Ravishing Fashionistas is more than overwhelmed by the response received.
Ravishing Fashionistas opened the runway with a collection of mesmerizing spring themed looks showcasing a number of designers whose show stopping garments and millenary dazzled their guests with beautiful floral themes. Guests were immersed in the runway that weaved its way through the stunning halls of Old Government House, RF went on to showcase an abundance of both emerging and renowned designers whose looks will inspire this Spring’s fashion trends, challenging the boundaries of fashion and working to break the stereotypes in the industry.
Working day and night, Upma Kite has proved again that with passion and determination anything is achievable, as commented by Councilor Vicky Howard in a heartfelt speech highlighted at the show opening. Her mission of creating a space that encourages women of all shapes, sizes, ages & backgrounds to embrace themselves has again been perfectly portrayed through the 12 designers and 35 models involved in this year’s unforgettable show.
Although Upma Kite is the woman who made this event happen, she couldn’t have done it without her incredible RF team consisting of people from all walks of life, volunteering their time, their expertise and their passion for change, who all worked together to create this magical event.
As another RF Fashion Show closes, the RF team are again left speechless and inspired to continue promoting and enforcing her message of empowering women to embrace their beauty and body irrespective of their age, body type, background, skin color or culture. With the volume of support and compassion she continues to receive, Upma is determined to come back to again provide a space for every woman regardless of their background to celebrate confidence and empowerment.
