Ravishing Fashionistas exist to help women to embrace themselves confidently by breaking through stereotypes in the fashion industry.
Upma and the team at Ravishing Fashionistas are passionate about helping women achieve greatness despite all challenges by using RF as a platform for breaking stereotypes and helping women to become a better version of themselves.
Ravishing Fashionistas is able to contribute and give back to the community through our annual RAVISHING FASHIONISTAS FASHION SHOW, providing models and designers a platform to embrace themselves, showcase their talents and inspire and empower women to own their confidence, irrespective of body types, background and beliefs.
Along with the show, RF also hosts a charity luncheon with proceeds dedicated to several worthy charities including hosting an annual high tea event dedicated to National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) with proceeds from the event to support breast cancer awareness along with NGO Dignifying Women, founded by Upma Kite supporting victims of domestic violence in India.
Dignifying Women is an NGO registered to work for women for women. The focus is to empower women to achieve their goals by their growth and excellence. Purposed to support empowering middle age and above women in anything and everything they do.
In 2019, RF raised funds for the UN Women National Committee AU through the show and in 2020 and 2021 supported NBCF, with the addition of Cancer Council AU in 2021 and plan to continue our work with NBCF and Dignifying Women through our 2022 endeavors.
